Distance markers
All distances on our golf courses are measured in yards.
(1 yard = 0.91 meter).

Club houses
All golf courses have attractive, often luxurious, club houses with excellent change rooms, bar and food service. On account of our tropical climate, we require that all players to shower and change clothing before the return trip to the hotel.

Our Golf Courses

On the eastern seaboard of Thailand, close to our headquarters at Jomtien, there are some 24 golf courses. Many of these are of championship standard, others offer challenges to both high and low handicap golfers. On this page, we present the courses we recommend that provide variation in both challenge, quality and price. Read more about additional golf courses in our area.

Green fee prices are very attractive in comparison with international price levels. During our low tourist season from March-October they are even lower.

Siam Country Club Plantation

image_siam_plantation

Siam Plantation opened in 2008 and is of international championship standard with 27 holes. "Honda Classic", the inaugural 2009 LPGA Tour event, was played here in April, 2009. The course is situated next to its sister course, Siam Country Club Old, but has its own entrance and club house. The course is challenging and difficult. Golf cart is compulsory. See more pictures of the attractive design and layout in our photo gallery

Burapha Golf Club

image_burapha

Burapha is one of our premier courses and has hosted many professional golf tournaments. 72 holes, with the A and B nines lying on lower grounds, while the C and D nines meander into a mountain range with spectacular views over the surrounding area. See more pictures in our photo gallery.

Laem Chabang International Golf Club

image_laemchabang

Laem Chabang is considered the premier golf course in our area. A luxurious club house offers a view across a superior but relatively difficult golf course with many water hazards. The tropical plants surrounding each tee makes you feel that you are visiting a botanical garden. Playing this course is an unforgettable experience. See more pictures in our photo gallery.

Phoenix

image_phoenix

A key attraction of this golf course is the spectacular views across the Gulf of Thailand in one direction and surrounding mountain ranges in another direction. This course is always in pristine condition and a pleasure to play. Surrounding the fairways you will find palm trees, eucalyptus and flowering bushes of all kinds. Small lakes create water hazards which dictate cautious playing strategy on many holes.

Rayong Green Valley

image_greenvalley

This is one of our most popular golf courses and it is always heavily booked during our high season. Undulating fairways follow the natural landscape. Fairways are surrounded by attractive flower beds placed so they do not interfere with play. An attractive club house features 4 separate restaurants. Adjacent and sharing the same club house is also the challenging St Andrews 2000 golf course (see below).

St Andrews 2000

image_standrews

St Andrews 2000 is a challenging 74 par golf course wholly integrated into the surrounding nature. The special feature is 2 par 6 holes, more than 800 yards in length. One of these requires a carry close to 200 yards across a lake. Your second stroke takes you back across the lake in the other direction and still leaves you several hundred yards away from he green. St Andrews is called a links course which is difficult to imagine with its undulating fairways and elevated greens. Your score card recommends that you bring a sufficient number of golf balls and that you should consider another course if you handicap exceeds 18. This speaks like a challenge.

Eastern Star

image_easternstar

Eastern Star, located in the township of Bang Chang and a 40 minute drive from Jomtien, is an attractive course with a great number of water hazards surrounding the fairways. It is, however, a very pleasant course for both high and low handicappers. Between the fairways you will find palm trees, mango trees and attractive, flowering shrubs.

Emerald

image_emerald

The Emerald is surrounded by dense jungle vegetation near the township of Ban Chang. It offers undulating fairways with plenty of crests and mounds (Faldo style). This course probably has the most challenging par-3s of any course. The hilly layout makes it a tough course to walk. Emerald has a small but charming club house with an open-air restaurant.

Siam Country Club Old

image_siam_country_club_old

The 2007 LPGA Tour event "Honda Classic" was played here in 2007. The course was completely rebuilt in 2006 and is now of championship standard. It is a challenging course to play, especially the greens which are very difficult. Golf court is compulsory, but you cannot drive the cart on the fairways. This course is situated close to Jomtien. See more pictures in our photo gallery.
